Omlet Egg Cartons

Hello..we have the omelet Pro with the automatic door. The controller for the door has been a real disappointment! We have gone through several types of expensive batteries but the controller quits working. This has resulted in locking the chickens out in cold weather, or locking them in. At first, it was thought it was a wifi issue.
We were told to disable the wifi feature! Told you could either use only the wifi, or to disable it for the door to work. At first, it worked for a few days, then less and less . Now it will not work at all.
We have had the young chickens locked out in cold weather and on another occasion, locked in! The batteries for outdoor use in cold weather are expensive at $30. a set….after five sets its not reasonable to continue using the automatic door.
There should be a direct plug in option. The controller may be defective however, that part of the warranty seems to be a problem.
We are waiting for this issue to be resolved!
