Easy to clean

Cleaning your Eglu Pro is a breeze! Spend more time with your chickens and less time of their mess.

As everything is made of durable plastic, you can hose, scrub or pressure wash the entire coop as all parts are removable.

We recommend the following cleaning schedule:

Empty trays: once a week (3 minutes)

Hose down components: once a month (8 minutes)

Pressure wash or scrub clean: twice a year. Once going into winter, and once coming out of winter. (10 minutes)

The run on your Eglu Pro is made from extremely strong steel welded wire. Unlike traditional "chicken wire", predators find it impossible to break the wire panels. The wire is coated to protect from rust and the green blends in nicely with your garden.

To keep out digging predators like foxes, skunks, coyotes and dogs, the run is connected to a wire skirt that extends out on all sides. Any predator that tries to dig, will be stopped by the skirt.

For added security don't forget to peg down the skirt with Omlet Screw Pegs.

Egg collection

The Eglu Pro has three perfectly sized nest boxes for your hens to lay their eggs in.

Add some bedding material and your chickens will do the rest.

When it comes time to collect the eggs, the hinged door can be held in place with the straps or dropped down to give your little helper easier access.

The interior nest box doors can be closed at night to stop hens from sleeping (and pooping) in the wrong place.

Give your chickens new grass and bugs to peck over by easily moving your Eglu Pro with the integrated wheels.

Simply push the pedals down to engage each wheel and lift and pull from the front using the handles. Your chickens will walk along in the run as you move them to their new pasture.

Wooden coops rot, fall to pieces and absorb smells. The Eglu Pro is made of durable 100% recyclable UV stabilized polyethylene.

The powder coated run resists rust and won't warp.

All parts are replaceable and the coop comes with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty.

Things to note

When setting up your Eglu Pro, allow 90cm of space at the back of the house so you can slide the droppings and nesting trays out easily and 70cm at the front of the run so you can open the run door.

Please note:

You should not add wheels to the Eglu Pro without a run.

The Eggport door is not load bearing, and should not be leaned on.

The Eglu Pro run dimensions include 1 metre of space below the coop.

Why can't I add wheels without a run?

Due to its size, the Eglu Pro could topple if on wheels without the counterbalance of a run. Therefore, we can only supply wheels if you select a run attached to your coop.

Can I attach my Eglu Pro to a Walk In Run?

Yes. The Eglu Pro can be connected with a Connection Kit or the coop can be placed inside the Walk In Run.

Are the walls the same as the Eglu Cube? Is it good for cold Canadian winters?

The Eglu Pro wall panels are the same as the Eglu Cube, with dual panels to trap air and insulate the coop, making it suitable for year round use.

Is shipping free?

Shipping is free across Canada.

I only see a green option, are there any other colours?

Green is only available at the moment.

Are the nest box partitions removable, and can an Autodoor be used to close the doors?

The nest boxes are always divided into three, and need to be closed manually.

Can I extend the run part or add wheels and handles later?

The Eglu Pro is a modular coop so you can lengthen the run or add accessories at any point down the road.

Is it very difficult to put together?

The Eglu Pro isn't difficult to put together but it is time consuming. Using the included step by step instructions or the assembly videos you'll find it easy to follow along and build the coop of your chicken's dreams.
